Fleming's Trucking & Logging​ Inc.

Fleming's Trucking & Logging is a 5th generation, family-owned and operated logging business based on St. Joseph Island, Ontario.

Over the decades, we have gone from using horses to the latest mechanical harvesting equipment, and now have a cut-to-length system in Ontario’s hardwoods.

​

We practice sustainable forestry to increase timber value over the long term and maintain and improve forests' health. We achieve maximum utilization of the trees cut and leave very little that is unmarketable.

​

We are SWO (Safe Workplace Ontario) Certified. This gives us an advantage over other logging companies as companies hiring logging contractors are now starting to require this certification. We are one of the only logging businesses in the area with this certification.

We are also the 3-year consecutive WSN (Workplace Safety North) double award winner of the President's Award for Forestry and also Small Business Firms for 2014, 2015 and 2016.
